Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) publication releases latest issue focused on Sports Technology.
ATLANTA, GA—February 1, 2017— The Technology Association of Georgia (TAG), one of the nation’s largest state trade organizations dedicated to technology and innovation, recently recognized M. Cole Jones, Managing Partner of RIISE Ventures, for his article contribution to the latest issue of Hub Magazine.
The article entitled “A Tale of Two Stadiums” appears in the latest issue which focused on the state’s emerging Sport Technology sector.
“A Tale of Two Stadiums” focuses on the technology and innovation of Augusta’s new Green Jackets Stadium and Atlanta’s new Mercedes Benz Stadium, exploring two examples of how sports innovation is emerging in Georgia in both a middle and major market.
Sports technology is a critical part of the Global Sports market which is estimated to be worth $750 billion dollars and growing. Just the Smart Sports and Fitness Wearables Market alone, is expected to hit $14.9 Billion by 2021. In Georgia, a combined $2billion is being spent on high-tech sports facilities and there is a growing number of tech companies focused on Sports Analytics, Fan Engagement, Digital Signage, E-Gaming, and more. The Sports Technology issue of Hub Magazine offers a glimpse of this vibrant sector in Georgia.
